7/7/07 is an important day. Not because Eva Longoria is getting married in Paris on this day. Not because the casinos in Vegas have special discounts and games for visitors. Today marks an important mid-way point in our Millennium Campaign. We have reached the half-way point towards our 2015 deadline, by which time we would have, with the entire globe's efforts, achieved and hopefully surpassed all the Millennium Development Goals.
As some of you know, 7/7/07 is also the launch day of Earth Lab, "the leading online worldwide community for earth friendly individuals and companies [...], established to generate social capital through education and motivation".
Do something earth friendly today. Carpool. Change a lightbulb. Plant a tree.
